4th SBM Masters Challenge.....Stamp It....So Much Fun

Hello everyone...

I am back yet again with another Masters challenge share...this time its the Stamp It challenge...I have shared the first 3 challenges already so if you would like to go back to the start, you can go to the first one here, the second one here and the 3rd one is just below this post :)

For this challenge we were to focus on using the Dylusions colour sprays and stamps as well. I got green and blue Dylusions sprays.....they are gorgeous colours as you can see in the layout!! I LOVE them so much!

I also used heaps of different stamps to add different effects to my background....

Not the best photo of my eldest son, he looks like he is in pain (probably is with me making him pose for a photo AGAIN LOL!!) but I like that it brings out his blue eyes.....

3rd SBM Masters Challenge...American Crafts....Today and Tomorrow.

Hi all!

Today I am sharing the layout and card that we had to make for the 3rd Scrapbooking Memories Masters Challenge. I have been sharing all the Masters challenges in order from the beginning so if you would like to see the first two you can go here for the first one and/or here for the 2nd one!

This was my favourite challenge out of the whole lot.....we got to play with some yummy Amy Tan products and they just really spoke to me, they are very much suited to my style of scrapbooking since I like trends and bright colours! 

Here is my layout:

I used a little bit of everything we were sent, I even used the stamps, stamping a repeating car pattern to create a sense of movement on my page...

We also had to create a card as well.....cards are great for left over pieces.....

The next couple of challenges proved a little challenging for me from here on, very out of my comfort zone, but I will save them for another day..... :)

FabScraps 'Beary Cute' Canvas...

Hi everyone!!

 Today I am going to share a layout that I recently created using some of the gorgeous and brand new FabScraps Oz 'Baby Bear' collection....I also decided to mount my layout onto a canvas for more depth..so here is how I created it...  

The papers I used for my layout canvas are:

FabScraps Oz 'Baby Bear' Story Bear 1 and

FabScraps Oz 'Baby Bear' Story Bear 2 

I distressed all the edges of the Story Bear 1 paper 

and used this is my main page, 

I used a smaller piece of the Story Bear 2 paper to 

mount my photo and some of my elements... 

Once I had trimmed and distressed the edges of the Story Bear 1 paper,

 I got out my trusty X-Press It Triple Tac and 

using a foam brush, adhered this paper to the 12' x 12' canvas..

I also used some of the FabScraps Oz Baby Bear

 Journal Pre-Cuts, choosing the 

 Baby Bear Smocking pre-cuts...

the Story Bear 1 Tag Pre Cut that I mounted on the

 matching Tag chipboard using some X-Press It Clear Gel Glue 

 and I also used the Baby Bear Story Bear Journal Pre-Cut name tag

 and adhered it to the matching name tag chipboard

 piece again using the awesome X-Press It Clear Gel Glue..

 I punched holes using a small hole punch in the band

 and cut out the label section with my stanley knife.. 

I also used two of the Pre-Cuts from the FabScraps Oz

Milkshake Chic range, choosing the Pink Soda

 Milkshake pre-cut.. 

and the pastel pink Tape Measures..

I also used the FabScraps Oz Soft Blush Roses

 in pink and I also used the Baby Bear Clear Stickers as well..

I layered two of the Blush Roses together

 and used a FabScraps Oz pearl to join them together..

I chose my title, the FabScraps Oz 'Beary Cute' Chipboard title leaving it in its raw state..

I adhered all the Pre-Cuts to my layout with the X-Press It Glue Marker Pen

 and all the Chipboard elements I used the X-Press It Clear Gel Glue

as its a little stronger than the glue marker...  

Here are all the elements on the layout before I had completely finished...

And here is the finished canvas/layout...I added a cute little

  FabScraps Oz wooden flower button to the cluster to finish it off as well...

2nd SBM Masters Challenge.....Websters Pages.....Looking Fine

Hi everyone!

I am here today to share the second Scrapbooking Memories Magazine Masters challenge with you.

If you would like to see my first Masters challenge layout, you can see that here. 

I think out of all the SBM challenges this would be one of my favourite!! Along with the American Crafts/Amy Tan challenge these products are right up my alley!!
We were asked to create a single layout and I just loved the Allison Kreft Designs Websters Pages range we were sent to work with, us Masters had the awesome opportunity to work with this range before it was released and before it was even up on the Websters Pages blog!!

I decided to create a layout using the yellow, turquoise and black colours.

I just loved the patterns and the colours this range has.

1st SBM Masters Challenges....Stampin Up....Baby So Sweet...

Hi everyone!!

So I am here today to share one of my Scrapbooking Memories Masters challenges with you, these projects have all appeared in the magazine but its good to see a close up shot as well. I will be sharing these projects over the next posts in between other things!

So first up, us Masters were sent some Stampin' Up products to play with.. now we get given SOOO much stuff to play with that its impossible to use it all, I always try to use at least one of everything if I can, its hard though, there is still always so much left over.   

I used a photo of my eldest son from a professional photo shoot we had done of him, when he was around 7 months old, he is 7 now so its quite an old photo!!

I don't own a great deal of LYB products, what I do have is quite old so I thought it was better to use something of theirs rather than enter using other manufacturers products.. 

I really like the chipboard Slider embellishment, how cute is it?! 

So that's all of my LYB call entries, in my next post I am going to be starting to share all my SBM Masters challenges starting from the very first one.

Just Beachy....

Hello again all,

I am back again to share another of my Little Yellow Bicycle Cycling Team call layouts, I didn't make the team but I so happy to create 3 layouts using some old LYB products I have had laying around for ages!!! I have already shared one of the layouts here if you would like to see...

This photo is one of my all time favourites of my youngest son, he is only 10 months in this photo, he is so cute and LOVES the beach as you can see hehe!!

This layout features all LYB products except for the cardstock, title and the yellow and red spot washi tape...

Love You Just the Way You Are...

Hi everyone!!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY for yesterday to all the beautiful Mums out there!! I had a lovely day, brekkie in bed, some gorgeous gifts from my kids, chocies and a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tablet!!

Very spoilt indeed!!

I wanted to share a layout with you that I created recently for one of the Little Yellow Bicycle Cycling Team calls, I didn't make the team but I was really happy with what I created. I created 3 layouts and this one was probably my favourite out of all 3. I will share the other 2 in the next couple of days.

I have used heaps of OLD LYB products on this layout but I really like how it has a modern look with the arrow elements.

 I also created for this layout as part of my projects for D-Lish Scraps to and I think it really finished it off using some of those delightful goodies!!

May White With 1....

Can you believe it is May already?! Time is just flying by so fast!!

The first of the month always means a new challenge over at White With 1 and this month the challenge is to use....

White + Black + Banners and/or Badges

She is Fabulous....

Hi everyone!!

I am here to share a 'just because' layout with you today. I have had this photo of Kim Jeffress and I for so long! I have been 'saving' it to scrap with some gorgeous Heidi Swapp products since she is on the media team I thought it only fitting to use Heidi's products.

  I wanted to scrap a girly layout for a change and document how I find Kim such an inspiration...I wish I lived closer to her so that we could get our scrap on more!! This photo was taken the first time I met Kim at my good friend Lisa Webb's house three years ago!

So I have used some of Heidi's papers from Sugar Chic and Vintage Chic and embellishments from No Limits and Sugar Chic. Do you also spy a vintage Heidi photo corner as well? LOL!! I have also used some gorgeous Elle's Studio tags and journal spots and I couldn't resist using some of my favourite embellishments  from D-Lish Scraps!!

I love the flair badges that Amanda creates at D-Lish Scraps...

Love Story....with D-Lish

Hi everyone!!

I am back today to share a layout I have created with the gorgeous D-Lish Scraps products!

I just wanted to start by saying that I find it so super easy to add D-Lish products to my pages. I can always find just the right embellishment that suits the page I am creating. Sometimes I find myself adding 8 or more D-Lish products without even realising, it is that easy!!

I created this layout of hubby and I at a recent wedding using heaps of D-Lish Scraps  products...

My Minds Eye and a Page Maps Sketch...

Hi guys!!!

Today I am sharing a layout that I recently created for a great challenge to use a Becky Fleck Page Maps sketch for inspiration! You could use any products you wished but since Page Maps have teamed up with My Minds Eye this month I thought I would use at least one thing that was My Minds Eye, I chose to use one of the papers from the 'Love Me' range. The winner of the sketch contest receives the new MME 'My Girl' collection!

This is the awesome Page Maps sketch......

Isn't my little man just the cutest? He is a little older than this photo now but I just want to eat him up in this photo!!! I have used a flair button and some Journal Its from one of my favourite embellishment shops- D-Lish Scraps too.  

So thats all today, I think  am liking the short posts more frequently option at the moment, its working well for me so I think I will keep it up.

Hi all!!!

Today I have another D-Lish Scraps  layout to share with you....I have teamed some of my favourite D-Lish Scraps goodies with some of my last pieces of Amy Tan's gorgeous 'Ready, Set, Go' collection!!

I have used another one of Amanda's fabulous Valentine Printables on this layout and layered one of the Amy Tangerine stickers over the top of it.... 

The other D-Lish goodies used here are that Cream Sentiment Flag, the fabulous Wooden Bingo Number, a Bright Chevron Journal It, Yellow and Red Spot Washi Tape and last but not least is one of my favourite items in the D-Lish store at the moment....the Bright Wordburst Flair.....

Happy Easter everyone!!! I hope you ate too much chocolate and had a great time celebrating!!!

I have been creating with my favourite embellishments from D-Lish Scraps again and have a layout to share with you today!!

I love this photo of my gorgeous sister and her hubby from their wedding day last year....they sadly for me live in England (hence the double decker red bus behind them) but I of course got to see and have their beautiful photos to scrap!
   The 2 lovely D-Lish goodies I have used on this layout are the Large Red Carved Resin Heart and I also made use of Amanda's fabulous Valentine Printables which are her very own designs!!
